Obviously health and energy mods don't apply since health and energy are fixed in CB.

But what about insignias that add armor, weapon mods that add armor, weapon mods that increase enchantment duration, etc? Do they work?
What about insignias that have condition reduction?
What about weapon mods that have a condition reduction?

Regardless of item bonuses, player health is set to 600. Energy and attributes are fixed for every profession. Weapon upgrades that do not affect maximum health, energy or attributes keep their effect.

Take the insignias that will increase your armor (like windwalker for dervs, or ghost forge for ritualists) and the runes of purity, clarity, recovery and restoration for reducing conditions.
As a caster, you might want to combine the runes with the matching shield;for example if you have a shield with the "swift as the wind" inscription and the rune, palm strike cripple will last only two seconds, allowing you to avoid the kd if you kite properly (100% success if you controll the battle cry shrine).

does this mean any armor upgrade, no matter what it may be, has no effect?

Has anyone tested out insignias and runes on armor yet?

If armor runes/insignias other than +att/health/energy work, then I want to replace my survivor, radiant, and +att runes with +armor/effect/absorption type of runes.

Also, I read somewhere that AL is maxed out for profession regardless of level or current armor? So I could go get basic armor and apply the runes/insignias that work best for CB?
